Each and every one of us without exception will die one day. There is no getting around it. And there is a lot of talk out there about what happens after this. Here is the truth:
The truth is that death is not the end. It is the beginning of FOREVER.
The truth is that heaven really does exist.
The truth is that hell really does exist.
The truth is that there is ONE way to heaven.
The truth is that hell is far worse than any of us can ever imagine.
The truth is that each of us will either be in heaven or in hell... FOREVER.
God chose to make us free thinking individuals. We can think and decide for ourselves. He gave us the power of making our own decisions. You make the decision to go to heaven or to go to hell by your own belief or unbelief. So, belief in what?
Belief that Jesus Christ is who He says He is! That is the only way. And that is all you have to do!
So who does Jesus say he is?
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." John 3:16-18
So who is God's Son? Jesus was asked directly when he was on trial:
"The high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God."
'Yes it is as you say," Jesus replied. "But I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven." Matthew 26:63-64
So I beg you with everything I have in me and pray that your heart will be open to the good news of Jesus Christ. No matter what anyone else tries to tell you for their own selfish motives or out of their ignorance...
The only way to heaven is to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, he is the Son of God who lived here on earth, he died on the cross for all of our sins so that we can be without sin through his death, and he rose and is in heaven thereby conquoring death so that we who believe in him can live forever with him.
