"Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." - Jesus Christ (Matthew 11:28-30)
I was looking on YouTube and started seeing videos of people who claim to have had near death experiences. They say they have been brought down into hell then lifted out by Jesus and brought back to life to tell their tale.
Are these people for real? Only God knows for sure. What I can say is that their stories are the third seismic shift in my life here on earth. I will never look at the people I come in contact with in the same way.
As a Christian I can say that Christ is real and he is. I can say that to believe in Christ is to go to heaven, not to believe is to go to hell. I know that to be truth. I know all of that to be true. But hearing those stories gave me a new, hardened resolve to meet people where they are in life and let them know the consequences choosing Christ, not choosing Christ, or thinking that they can ignore the decision which is the same as rejecting Christ.
We all hear the stories of the torture and the agony of hell. We’re hear and say that hell is bad. Hell is a place where real people go. People you know. Perhaps even you. And it's forever. It's also a choice you make. God calls you. You have the God given freewill to either accept Him or reject Him.
Think of the smiling faces of people you know turned to hopeless agony. "Nice" people who chose not to believe in Christ having their flesh torn off and reassembled as good as new and the process repeated over and over again. Forever without end.
Picture yourself or your unsaved mom or your unsaved husband or son burning in torment over and over again. The flesh is burned off while they are fully conscious feeling every bit of the pain until all the flesh is gone. Then their flesh rejuvenates and the scene repeats itself over and over again without end. Forever. I get graphic for a reason! This is all too real!
Picture famous celebrities being beaten and tortured ruthlessly because they won't perform. But they can't perform because they are so helplessly afraid; bracing themselves for the next blow or worse. All the while they can't understand that they can't wake up from this nightmare because it is not a nightmare. It's real. And so the cycle continues. Forever. Without end. Ever.
The only difference between those in hell and those in heaven is that those who go to heaven have accepted that Jesus is who he says that he is! That’s it. Just believe in him!
And just as hell is worse than any human mind can imagine, heaven is far better than any of us can imagine. Heaven is a place without pain or worry or burden. No tears, no sickness. You’re fully conscious and aware of where you are. You experience real, lasting happiness in the presence of God. In the presence of Jesus. Forever. Without end.
To those of you who don't believe in Christ I will never condemn you and have absolutely no right too because I too am a sinner. But God forgives my sins and calls me His son because I believed His Son, Jesus Christ when he said that "wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." (Matthew 7:13-14)
Jesus said that he is that path and the only difference between being experiencing heaven forever and experiencing hell forever is whether or not you believed Jesus Christ.
You can trust me! I have nothing to gain by this but to tell you the truth. I love you and my heart cries for you to accept Jesus Christ. There are no rituals and religious burdens involved. Salvation doesn’t come from religion. It comes only from belief in Christ.
